Jackpot City at a glance: who it suits
Jackpot City has been running since 1998, which makes it one of the older casino brands still in business. Today it belongs to Super Group (SGHC) Limited, the New York Stock Exchange-listed company that also owns Betway. The focus is narrow and clear: slot machines, jackpot games, digital table games and live dealers, with no sportsbook.
The brand runs in several versions. In Great Britain it is a trading name of Betway Limited, in Canada it has its own app and appears in Ontario's regulated market, and an international site at jackpotcitycasino.com serves countries such as Ireland, New Zealand, Chile and Uruguay. It suits players who want a familiar, uncomplicated slots site; those looking for a very large catalogue or a single, strictly regulated home have stronger options.

Our rating
Good: 7.9 / 10. Every operator is rated on the same five criteria and weights. The overall score is the weighted mean, rounded to one decimal. Read the method.
Licensing and trust
How well you are protected depends on which Jackpot City you use. In Great Britain the brand trades under Betway Limited's Gambling Commission account 39372, where 'jackpot city' is listed as an active trading name. In Canada, the Jackpot City app is published by Cadtree Limited, and Jackpot City appears among the casino sites in iGaming Ontario's regulated market, where the minimum age is 19.
The international site jackpotcitycasino.com is run by Baytree Interactive Ltd, a company registered in Guernsey and licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (licence 01059, issued in August 2026). Kahnawake is a long-standing licensing authority, but it is generally regarded as less demanding than regulators such as the UK Gambling Commission or iGaming Ontario. The site also carries certification from the testing body eCOGRA, which checks random number generators and payout percentages.
Betway Limited, the UK licence holder, has paid two Gambling Commission penalties: an £11.6 million package in 2020 over failings linked to high-spending VIP customers, and £408,915 in 2022 after its logo appeared on children's pages of a football club website. Neither case was specific to Jackpot City, but both concern the company behind its UK site. Super Group's listing and the Ontario approval support trust; the offshore licence and that record keep the score below our upper band.
Slots and jackpots
Super Group describes Jackpot City as offering more than 500 casino games, a compact library by current standards. Slots make up most of it, from three-reel classics to modern video slots, alongside progressive jackpot networks such as Mega Moolah and WowPot and a set of Must Win Jackpot games.
The studios behind the games are familiar names such as Games Global, Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming and Blueprint Gaming, and the UK app adds NetEnt. Table players can choose European, French and American roulette, several blackjack versions, baccarat and video poker. What you will not find is the long tail of niche providers that the biggest casinos carry, so players who like to try something new every week may run out of novelty sooner.
A word on jackpots: progressive prizes grow because a small part of every qualifying bet across a network of casinos feeds the pot, which is why the headline figures can be so large. The chance of landing the top prize on any single spin is very small, and Must Win Jackpots, which are built to drop before a set deadline or cap, do not change that for an individual player. Treat jackpot games as entertainment with a long-shot extra, not as a plan.
Live casino
In the live section, professional dealers run blackjack, roulette and baccarat; OnAir Entertainment is one of the studio partners the site names. It covers the classics, which is what most live casino players actually use. Live games run in real time with human dealers, so they move more slowly than digital tables; the RNG versions in the main lobby remain available if you prefer a quicker pace.
Jackpot City does not promote exclusive branded tables or a large game-show line-up in the material we reviewed, so live casino fans who want variety may prefer a bigger operator. The tables available to you also depend on your country site.
Website and mobile apps
British players get their own iOS app, and Canadians have a separate one published by Cadtree Limited, which held a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from around 25,000 ratings on the Canadian App Store in October 2026. The Canadian listing mentions a dark interface, more than a dozen languages and in-app tools for limits and breaks. The UK version is built for British customers and its listing cites Gambling Commission regulation. The mobile website works in any modern browser.
On the international site the iPhone version comes through Apple's store, but Android users are directed to install an APK file from the website rather than through Google Play. That is common for casino apps in some regions, but it means allowing installs from outside the official store, which some users will not be comfortable with.
Deposits and withdrawals
UK customers can pay with Visa and Mastercard debit cards, PayPal, Trustly, Vyne and bank transfer; credit cards are not allowed for gambling in Great Britain. The international site lists Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, NETELLER, paysafecard, MuchBetter and Neosurf, with the exact mix depending on your country.
Withdrawals are subject to identity checks, as at any licensed casino, and we have not measured payout times. Deposit limits are managed from the same Bank page as payments, so it is easy to put a cap in place when you make your first deposit.
Welcome offers and promotions
Jackpot City runs welcome offers for new players and promotions for existing customers, but the structure and terms differ between country sites and change over time. Some markets, including the UK and Ontario, also set their own rules on how casino bonuses may be advertised and designed.
Check the wagering requirement, which games contribute, any maximum stake while the bonus is active and the expiry date. A bonus is never required, and playing without one keeps your winnings free of extra conditions.
Customer support
The Help Centre pairs FAQ articles with live chat, and the brand says its support staff cover several languages. Super Group states that help is available around the clock by live chat, e-mail and phone, which is a fuller set of channels than many casinos publish.
For account-specific questions, such as which verification documents are needed, live chat is the most direct route. Because the operating company differs by country, check the footer of your local site to see which company and regulator you would escalate a complaint to. The Help Centre is also where you activate self-exclusion, so it is worth knowing where to find it before you need it.
Safer gambling tools
You can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits; reductions apply immediately, while increases only take effect after 24 hours, which is the right way round. A Take a Break option starts at 24 hours, and self-exclusion lasts six months or more and stops marketing messages.
The site also offers a nine-question self-assessment, links to Gordon Moody, the Responsible Gambling Council and Gamblers Anonymous, and points to blocking software such as Net Nanny and BetBlocker. UK players can also use GAMSTOP, which every British-licensed online operator must support.
If you share a computer or phone with children or with someone who wants to stay away from gambling, the blocking tools mentioned on the responsible gaming page are worth installing; they work across sites, not just at Jackpot City. And if you notice that you are chasing losses or playing longer than planned, use the break options early rather than waiting.

Our verdict on Jackpot City
Jackpot City keeps things simple: classic and modern slots, well-known jackpot networks, standard live tables and support that Super Group says runs around the clock on several channels. Its age, its listed owner and its UK and Ontario coverage give it a reasonable footing.
It is not a standout, though. The library is modest, the international site sits under a lighter-touch licence, and the UK licensee's enforcement record is part of the picture. If you play in the UK or Ontario and mainly want straightforward slots, it is a sensible option; elsewhere, compare it with casinos licensed by stricter regulators, and set your deposit limits before you start.
